Singaraja, 25 February 2025 - The Head of the Communication, Informatics, Standardization, and Statistics Office (Kominfosanti) of Buleleng Regency, Ketut Suwarmawan, SSTP, MM, opened the Technical Coordination Meeting (Rakortek) of Buleleng Regency Government Official Website Management which aims to support the acceleration of digitalization in Buleleng Regency. This activity is also expected to strengthen the role of website managers as agents of change in the field of digitalization, so that they can provide information more easily and quickly to the public through online platforms.
In his speech, Ketut Suwarmawan expressed the hope that all local government website managers can actively provide and update information related to official activities in each agency. “Website managers must be the spearhead in delivering information in a transparent and timely manner to the public,” Suwarmawan said.
In addition, Suwarmawan also appealed to all website operators to always maintain consistency in managing content, including:
1. Conduct regular content updates.
2. Share content through social media to reach a wider audience.
3. Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of the website.
4. Prepare website management reports regularly to ensure optimal performance.
In evaluating website management, the Head of SPBE Governance and Human Resources, Ngakan Gde Dwi Dharma Yudha, SE, M.A.P, also reminded to keep updating the content and information in each agency. This aims to ensure that the information delivered can be received by the public quickly and efficiently.
In the technical presentation session, the Head of the Cybersecurity and Statistics Division, Komang Ery Marta Pariata, ST, gave an explanation regarding cybersecurity issues and the importance of digital security in managing government websites. Some of the points conveyed include:
1. Socialization of the “Circular of Kam Cybernetics, namely Electronic Certificates which are now transferred to the Electronic Certification Center.
2. Explanation of the Four Pillars of Digital Literacy, namely:
- Digital Skills: Digital skills.
- Digital Culture: Digital culture.
- Digital Ethics: Digital ethics.
- Digital Safety: Digital safety
3. Five Indicators of Information Security, which include confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
4. The importance of maintaining Digital Security, as well as anticipating potential Data Leaks that can occur due to user negligence.
5. Tips for Working Safely to avoid digital security threats, such as maintaining the devices used, managing internet habits wisely, and controlling the use of social media.
