Giri Emas Beach is one of the natural resources owned by Giri Emas Village which has now become one of the new tourist attractions located in Sawan District, Buleleng Regency. Giri Emas Beach Tourism can also be utilised as one of the sectors to support the receipt of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) for Giri Emas Village itself and Buleleng Regency.
Friday (23/2) morning, the Buleleng Regency Government through the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office carried out the handover of e-ticketing tools at the Giri Emas Beach tourist attraction, Giri Emas Village, Sawan District, Buleleng in accordance with Buleleng Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2023 concerning Regional Taxes and Regional Levies. This activity programme is a synergy between BPD Bali and the Buleleng Regency Government.
To note, the application of online-based e-ticketing transaction tools has been implemented in each DTW with a levy-based and local tax-based scheme. One of them is Giri Emas Beach. The entrance fee for visitors at Giri Emas Beach is Rp. 2000 for domestic tourists, and Rp. 6,000 for foreign tourists.
The installation of e-ticketing DTW aims to achieve digitalised tourism governance for the optimisation of Regional Revenue and facilitate supervision, reporting of ticket sales of visiting tourists in real time so that the management of Buleleng PAD from the regional levy sector can be more transparent, accountable, effective and efficient.
