Buleleng, 9 April 2025 - In an effort to improve tourism management and promotion, the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office carried out socialization activities related to tourist visit data in several leading destinations in the region. This socialization was held in three strategic locations, namely Bangsal Beach, Hatten Wines Vineyard, and Gili Putih Sumberkima.

This activity aims to convey the results of monitoring and evaluation of tourist visits over the past few months and socialize a more integrated and accurate visit data recording system. The event was attended by tourist destination managers, tourism businesses, village officials, and local community leaders.

"Through this socialization, we want to encourage synergy between local governments and tourism actors so that visit data can be recorded more systematically and accurately. This data will later become the basis for making policies and determining the direction of tourism destination promotion in the future," he said.

Bangsal Beach, which is known for its beautiful sunsets, Hatten Wines Vineyard, which offers an educational tourism experience in a vineyard, and Gili Putih Sumberkima, which is famous for its panoramic views of the sea and white sand, were chosen as locations for the socialization because of the high potential and tourist attractiveness of each.

In this socialization, participants were also given a brief training on the use of a digital system for recording tourist visits based on google spreadsheet, as a first step towards digitizing the tourism sector in Buleleng.

The Buleleng Regency Tourism Office hopes that through this activity, the management of tourist visit data in local destinations can continue to be improved, so that it can have a positive impact on the community's economy and the development of the tourism sector as a whole.
