Buleleng is once again the center of attention with the holding of the Jagaditha Intercultural Festival 2025, an art and cultural celebration that brings together delegations from various countries and regions. The event, which took place on Monday, September 22, 2025, at RTH Taman Bung Karno, Buleleng, presented a colorful atmosphere, musical accompaniment, and a variety of captivating cultural performances.

The festival was attended by various important figures, including the Regent of Buleleng, represented by the Head of the Buleleng Culture and Tourism Office, I Nyoman Wisandika, Panglingsir Puri Kanginan, SKPD leaders, sub-district heads, advisors to the Santhi Budaya art studio, and other invited guests.

In his speech, the Head of the Santhi Budaya Art Studio, I Gusti Ngurah Eka Prasetya, said that this program was part of Santhi Budaya's long journey, which since 2008 has often performed abroad. "This year is a historic moment because for the first time we have successfully presented a UNESCO-recommended event in Buleleng. We want to restore the glory of North Bali so that it can shine again as it did in the past," he said. He also expressed his gratitude to all those who supported and organized this event.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Buleleng, through the Head of the Culture Office, I Nyoman Wisandika, emphasized the importance of this festival as a means of promoting regional tourism. “This event was attended by delegations from South Korea, Hungary, India, and two delegations from Central Java, namely Tegal Regency and Kudus Regency. Their presence is expected to introduce Buleleng to their respective countries and regions, while also reducing the gap in tourist visits between North Bali and South Bali,” he explained.

He added his hope that the Jagaditha Intercultural Festival can continue to be held consistently and develop into an annual event calendar. That way, this activity will not only be a forum for preserving arts and culture, but also bring tangible economic benefits to the people of Buleleng through the tourism sector.

The event was then officially opened with the striking of a gong, symbolizing the start of the festival, followed by captivating performances from the country and regional delegations, each showcasing the uniqueness of their respective cultures.

The Jagaditha Intercultural Festival 2025 proves that Buleleng is not just a destination, but also a meeting point of civilizations that connects art, culture, and global brotherhood.
