The Covid-19 pandemic in Buleleng Regency has had a serious
impact on the tourism sector including. The implementation of mobility
restriction policies during the pandemic certainly affects the operational
system of the existing tourism sector. However, to be able to adapt to this, it
is hoped that the use and innovation of technology in the tourism sector can
help tourism recover. The current challenges for the tourism sector industry
are changes and market demands, competition in every tourist destination, and
travel preferences that have changed from before.
This pandemic has forced the tourism industry sector to be
creative and adapt to new jobs to continue working because, in the current
situation, no one knows when this pandemic will end. So we have to make various
efforts to minimize the impact of this pandemic. The Buleleng Regency Tourism
Office (Dispar) is currently preparing a strategy to encourage tourism industry
players to use sustainable tourism concepts because apart from having economic
value, sustainable tourism patterns provide a direct contribution to
conservation activities.
To realize the sustainable tourism program, the Buleleng Regency
Tourism Office (Dispar) will discuss this concept with parties involved in the
tourism industry ecosystem. These include business actors, hotels, the public,
cultural figures, and academics.
So through this, an analysis of the Buleleng Regency tourism
market in 2022 was created to support sustainable tourism after the pandemic.
