Sumberkima, November 20th, 2024 - Located in the Meeting Hall of PT Pelindo Celukan Bawang, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the development of Sumberkima Tourism Village was successfully held. This activity was attended by the General Manager of PT Pelindo Celukan Bawang, Head of Gerokgak Sub-District, Perbekel Sumberkima, as well as representatives from the Metamorfosa Community.
In the FGD, one of the main agendas was the plan to distribute PT Pelindo's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the development and conservation of coral reefs in the Sumberkima Village area. This program is expected to not only support the sustainability of the marine ecosystem, but also contribute to the advancement of local tourism.
The results of this discussion will later be submitted to PT Pelindo Regional for approval in accordance with the proposal that has been prepared. The program is part of the pentahelix collaboration strategy, involving government, private, community, academia and media to achieve broader goals.
The Buleleng Regency Tourism Office appreciates the concrete steps taken by PT Pelindo Celukan Bawang. “This initiative is an extraordinary form of corporate social responsibility, as well as an effort to support environmental conservation. The impact is not only on the sustainability of the ecosystem, but also provides added value to the tourism sector of Sumberkima Village,” said a representative of the Tourism Office.
With this program, Sumberkima Tourism Village is expected to become a sustainable tourism destination that promotes a balance between environmental preservation and community empowerment.
