Buleleng, November 22, 2024 - In an effort to support environmental conservation while beautifying the river area, the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office took part in the "Buleleng Kali Bersih" Movement (BUKAL-Sih) which was held on Friday morning, at 06.30 WITA.
This activity took place in the downstream area of the Buleleng River, precisely in the Buitan area, behind RRI, Banjar Bali Village. Employees of the Buleleng Regency Government together with related stakeholders and the local community worked together to clean the river area from plastic waste, leaves, and sediments that impede water flow.
Aside from being an event to clean the river, BUKAL-Sih is also a moment to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness. This activity is expected to be carried out sustainably, involve more parties, and become a joint movement for a cleaner and healthier Buleleng.
