Today, Friday, April 11, 2025, the atmosphere of Celukan Bawang Harbor, Buleleng, seemed more crowded than usual as the Seven Seas Mariner luxury cruise ship arrived at 06.00 WITA. The cruise ship carried 541 passengers from various countries, including the United States, the European region, Australia, and several countries in Asia.
At around 07.00 WITA, the passengers began to disembark from the ship and continue their journey to explore various tourist destinations in Buleleng. Known as one of the premium class cruise ships, Seven Seas Mariner provides various luxurious facilities on board, which also become the main attraction for foreign tourists.
During their visit, passengers are welcomed with the natural beauty and rich local culture of Buleleng. They participated in various tourism activities, ranging from visits to natural attractions, enjoying traditional art performances, to tasting regional culinary specialties. These activities not only provide valuable experience for the tourists, but also bring positive economic impact to the local community.
The presence of this international cruise ship is expected to boost the income of local communities, especially small businesses, handicraft product traders, and tour service providers. Sales of local products, such as souvenirs and specialty foods, have also increased along with the number of tourists shopping and tasting local products.
In order to ensure the safety and comfort of tourists while in the Buleleng area, the authorities have taken strict security measures. Security is applied around the port area to the tourist sites visited, involving security forces and local tourism officers.
With the docking of the Seven Seas Mariner today, Buleleng again shows its potential as one of the leading marine tourism destinations capable of attracting the attention of world tourists. Hopefully, visits like this can continue and further strengthen North Bali's position on the international tourism map.
