Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Adyatama Tourism and Creative Economy of the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office attended the Community Consultation Meeting (PKM) in the context of the preparation of the Bali Farm House Agrotourism Environmental Document. The activity was held at BARN Restaurant Bali Farm House which is located in Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency.

In this activity, the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office was represented by Adyatama Tourism and Creative Economy Junior Expert, I Putu Aria Wirasuta, S.H. This meeting is part of the process of socializing development plans and environmental studies (AMDAL) for the Bali Farm House Agrotourism project, which was initiated by CV. Bali Harmoni as the person in charge of the activity.

During the activity, various suggestions, inputs, and responses from participants were collected and became important concerns in the preparation of environmental documents. Some important points conveyed in the discussion include:

First, the community hopes that the development of agro-tourism will stick to the concept of Tri Hita Karana, which is to maintain harmony between humans and God, humans and others, and humans and the surrounding environment.

Second, participants highlighted the importance of attention to disaster vulnerability around the location of activities, which must be anticipated through good and planned management.

Third, in terms of employment, it was conveyed that recruitment of labor from the Pancasari Village community has been carried out for agro-tourism activities, and it is hoped that in the future this process will continue to prioritize local labor to support the village economy.

Fourth, related to waste management, residents propose that temporary shelters (TPS) that are currently adjacent to residential areas be evaluated and moved to a more suitable location, and use appropriate waste processing technology.

Fifth, the wastewater treatment unit for agro-tourism activities is planned to be improved and integrated with hotel and restaurant activities, and is expected to fulfill all technical recommendations related to the fulfillment of wastewater quality standards set by the authorized agency.

Furthermore, the sixth point highlights the importance of accommodating MSME players from the local community, such as strawberry sellers and other micro-business actors, to be empowered through real facilitation and support from the management.

Seventh, CV Bali Harmoni as the person in charge of the activity is expected to contribute actively and synergize with the Pancasari Village community, especially in the form of intensive communication and coordination in order to establish a harmonious and mutually supportive relationship.

Eighth, the participants suggested that the manager communicate and request permission from the Desa Adat and Desa Dinas if there are activities carried out outside of operational hours.

Ninth, there is also a hope that Bali Farm House will provide educational access to elementary school children in Pancasari Village, either by inviting them directly or through other relevant educational programs.

Tenth, the suggestion of a special policy regarding entrance tickets for people with Pancasari Village ID cards is also a concern, as a form of concern for the local community.

And finally, the construction and operation of hotels and restaurants in the Bali Farm House area are not allowed to be carried out before obtaining Environmental Approval from the Buleleng Regency Environmental Service (DLH), as well as other licenses in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

With the implementation of this PKM, it is hoped that the entire process of planning and implementing the development of Bali Farm House Agrotourism can run according to the principles of sustainable development, paying attention to social, economic, and environmental sustainability aspects as a whole and balanced.
