Buleleng - Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Buleleng Regent's Office House, Acting Buleleng Regent Ketut Lihadnyana, accompanied by Buleleng Regional Secretary (Sekda) Gede Suyasa, held a zoom meeting with the topic “Prevention and Handling of Online Gambling Activities in Government Agencies”. This topic also includes efforts to maintain the neutrality of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the upcoming Regional Head Election (Pilkada).
In his direction, PJ Regent Ketut Lihadnyana invited all ASN and Non ASN within the Buleleng Regency Government to commit to maintaining neutrality. “Let's keep Buleleng from the aspect of conduciveness, and continue to prioritize neutrality, especially in the elections,” he said.
The PJ Regent of Buleleng also emphasized the importance of coordination with election organizers so that ASN remains on a neutral path. He reminded all ASNs to be careful in conveying certain symbols that could be considered taking sides, and to limit themselves from engaging in activities that could interfere with neutrality.
Furthermore, he reminded all ranks of ASN not to be involved in online gambling activities, given the negative impact caused. This activity was also attended by ASN and Non ASN employees, including those from the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office.
Through this meeting, it is hoped that all apparatus in Buleleng will be more vigilant and committed to maintaining neutrality and security in the Buleleng region for the smooth running of Pilkada and regional stability.
