Upon entering Sanggar Sunari Bajra, visitors are greeted by a warm and inspiring atmosphere. The beautiful sounds of gamelan instruments fill the air, creating a magical and calming atmosphere. Experienced and talented teachers guide students with patience and expertise, teaching basic dance and music techniques typical of the Balinese tradition.
In the dance section, students were guided to master graceful and expressive movements, depicting the stories and meanings of Bali's cultural heritage. From gentle hand movements to firm footsteps, each dance move is learned with great attention to detail and precision. The students are also taught about the philosophical and spiritual meanings contained in each movement, so that they can understand and appreciate the art of Balinese dance more deeply.
Meanwhile, in the gamelan section, the students are taught to play various traditional Balinese musical instruments with skill and harmony. They learn about the rhythm, melody and structure of traditional Balinese music, as well as how to collaborate with fellow players to create beautiful and memorable music.
