Tembok Village is a village at the eastern end of Buleleng Regency which is directly adjacent to Karangasem Regency. Tembok Village has been designated by the Buleleng Regency Government as one of the 75 tourist villages designated by the Buleleng Regency Government based on Regent Decree Number 430/239/HK/2022.

The western Buleleng region is more dominant with natural beauty tourism, as well as several large temples and the charm of its beaches, which are always crowded with tourists. We began to develop a different tourist attraction in Tembok Village, a new development by packaging tourism that is identical to the daily stories of residents carried out at home.

Tourism is packaged under the name "Tembok Rural Experience" which began in February 2020 and is managed by Bumdes directly. The trip, also called "Rural Trip", provides several tour packages that tourists can buy to get around the village, accompanied by a guide who has been provided.

Tembok Rural Experience itself is motivated by the various potentials that exist and are truly unique to the village before being organized intoa tour as it is now. Some of these potentials ranging from hills, expanses of grass used as roofing material for houses, making palmyra plaits, Balinese wine, Balinese sugar, coconut oil, and cashew production all existed before it was planned to be developed into a tourist destination.
